I have a lot of work in the works, as it were.  Some will, finally, be coming out soon.  As far as I know, the next story to appear in print will be The Ones Who Remember, which will appear in Idolater of Cthulhu from Alban Lake Publishing.  The table of contents and cover art are on display at the website of author and editor, H. David Blalock, here: http://hdavidblalock.blogspot.com/  It looks to be a very well presented bit of work in which I am proud to be included.  I encourage you to check it out.

The periodical anthology, Potter's Field Five, is nearing completion.  My co-editor and I have a few details to hammer out and then we are done.  Here is a sample of the cover art, for your enjoyment.  I hope it heightens the anticipation of the work itself.

We are looking at this being out before the end of the summer.

Dark Oak Press is set to soon release a third edition of my collection, The Stone Maiden and Other Tales.  This third edition will include three previously-unpublished stories, corrections of typos not found before the previous publications, a new forward, and new cover art.  The three new tales are Bilgames the Unwise, A Fifty-Five Gallon Drum, and The Fortunate Few.

Of the nine new short stories set to come out sometime this year, I am finally seeing a portion closing in on their release dates.  I'm excited about this.  I hope to share them with you soon.

I am honored to report that my story, Eat Your Peas, which appears in the Dark Oak Press anthology, Luna's Children: Full Moon Mayhem, won the Darrell Award for Best Midsouth Short Story this year.  I still don't feel worthy of the honor, but I'm grateful.  It's nice to be read and appreciated, even if I'm not also being showered with cash.  :)  I do mean that. Being read and appreciated means a lot.  Thank you.
